What languages do you translate to and from?
We only specialize in translations between English and Polish.
How do I request an estimate?
To request an accurate estimate, please fill out the form on the right side of the screen and send it to us. To quicken the process of obtaining a quote, you may also attach samples of your texts if you have them available in an electronic format.
How soon will I receive my quote?
We allow ourselves up to 24 business hours to respond to your inquiry; but, you will probably hear from us much sooner. Please provide us with word counts, deadlines, and samples of your texts so that we can provide a quote as soon as possible. The more information we receive the quicker you will receive the quote since there will be no need for further communication. If we are missing any vital information necessary for a fair estimate, we will contact you immediately, requesting what is missing before providing a price quote.
What is the turnaround time?
The turnaround time mostly depends on the amount of work required for your job. For texts not longer than five pages, the translation can be provided within 24 hours. For larger projects, we will work at a pace sufficient to meet your target date.
Can you provide translation on the same day?
Yes, we can translate texts of up to 1000 words within 24 hours.
Do you translate from/to British or American English?
We have professionals in both British and American English.
Are your translators certified?
There is no comprehensive certification for translators. Nonetheless, our translators are required to have an accreditation with at least one respectable and recognized translation association. For projects that require certification, you will be provided with it on request.
Can you introduce some of your customers?
The Polish Translation's combination of best quality and highly competitive rates has earned the confidence of a wide range of clients. Following is a list of some of our recent new customers: U.S. House of Representatives (USA), Boeing Corporation (USA), Hines Timber Inc. (USA), Custom Papers, LLC (USA), CERDIC (France), Innova Specialties Inc. (USA), Tradelink Publications Ltd. (United Kingdom), JKC Trucking Inc. (USA), Polish Forums LLC (USA), SF Trader Systems (Norway), Axys S.C. (Poland), Dayton T. Brown Inc. (USA), BizPlanIt Co. (USA), Mapes & Sprowl Steel Ltd. (USA).
What is the procedure for translating documents?
First, the text is assigned to a professional in the specific field who transfers the meaning from the source language into the target language. Once the translation is ready, it undergoes proofreading and editing for correction of any inaccuracies. Only the proofread document will be sent to you.
How do you handle revisions or corrections (if necessary)?
If you are not entirely satisfied with the translation, or if you have any suggestions regarding the translation, we will modify it to your specifications at no additional charge.
Are your translations notarized?
We can notarize and certify your translation for an additional fee.
How do you handle interpreting jobs?
To help us find an interpreter meeting your requirements, you need to contact us at least seven business days before your target date. We will then locate the best professional in the proximity of your destination area to keep our service cost to you as low as possible.
Can I call you to discuss my translation project?
For immediate assistance, please email us at info@polishtranslation.com. You may also leave a voice-mail message by calling (708) 550-4638 (US) and your inquiry will be returned as soon as possible (usually same business day).
Why do you require a prepayment?
The main reason for a prepayment is that it is the simplest method we have found to reduce the extraneous expense of collecting bills, which in turn, means smaller fees for your translation. Furthermore, this practice allows us to concentrate our efforts more fully on providing our clients with the highest quality translation service possible.
